Bo Jackson Don't Know Scola

Yes. I am a Bo Jackson fan.
He played MLB Baseball AND NFL Football.
And played each at a level that amazed me in my youth.
It still amazes me now.

Horry, err, Smith, Gettin' Jiggy
Growing up watching Bo play, I am now naturally inclined to root for those incredible individuals that succeed in more than one high-profile line of work.

Take Will Smith for example.
While I enjoy most of his movies, I don't particularly like his music or some of the NBA teams he played on.
But I'm still a fan.

The fact that Will Smith has played on NBA teams, recorded hit songs, AND made box office hits is unbelievably awesome.
Therefore, I count myself among the throngs of Will Smith fans.

But I'm not here to simply relive the days of Bo Jackson or Will Smith.
This is about the underrated talents of a contemporary athlete lending his skills to very difficult lines of work...and succeeding.

I'm referring to Louis Scola.
Forward/Center in the NBA, Hollywood actor, comedian, and rock star.

Not since Will Smith donned a basketball uni and won seven NBA Championships have we seen someone so talented.
Scola brings incredible energy to his Houston Rockets, films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, stand-up comedy, and rock band Infant Sorrow.

Of course, with the talent comes the hate.
There have been rumors spread from NBA arenas and locker rooms to movie theaters, concert halls and comedy clubs.
I have heard them many times myself.

People insist NBA player Louis Scola, actor/comedian Russell Brand, and singer Aldous Snow are each different guys.

These rumors were started by people that can not stand to see anyone succeed; much less see someone succeed in more than one line of work.
They point to the fact that Louis Scola's name does not appear on the credits to movies like Get Him to the Greek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
They also refer to Scola's name not being listed on Infant Sorrow CD's or videos.

Wake-up people. The answer is simple.
Like most celebrities, Louis Scola has adopted a stage name (or two).

Russell Brand, Aldous Snow, and Louis Scola are, in fact, THE SAME GUY!

The proof is irrefutable

And while Louis Scola has a way to go before reaching the heights reached by Will Smith and Bo Jackson, I think he's very well on his way. His band Infant Sorrow is enough to convince me of that.
Check out Scola's band Infant Sorrow performing live below.

You go Louis, I mean Russell, I mean Aldous...

BC for life Foo!
